Maj. Gen. Harold W. “Punch” Moulton, II, USAF

Director of Operations, United States European Command

General Moulton is director of Operations, United States European Command, Patch Barracks, Stuttgart, Germany. Prior to his current assignment, he was vice commander, 7th Air Force, Osan Air Base, South Korea. Previously, he served in joint positions at United States Forces Korea, North American Aerospace Defense Command and United States Northern Command. Moulton was commander of Joint Task Force-114, supporting NASA's 2005 return to space for the space shuttle, and was deputy commander of Joint Task Force-Katrina, providing hurricane relief to the United States Gulf Coast region. Moulton earned a Bachelor of Science degree in mathematics, United States Air Force Academy, Colorado Springs, Colo.; a master's degree in public administration, Golden Gate University, San Francisco, Calif.; and a master's degree in national security and strategy, National War College, Fort Lesley J. McNair, Washington, D.C.
